Debate Already Cancelled?

(originally launched into cyberspace on 12/30/2007)

Dear Subscriber,

Well now I'm getting reports that the New Hampshire debate--the one
I heard Ron Paul was being excluded from--was cancelled, and quite
a while ago, too. At this point, I can only guess which reports are
accurate. However, the point is still true: the establishment is
trying to MAKE Ron Paul insignificant by squelching his message,
misreporting or deleting poll results, keeping people from voting
in straw polls (as happened in Texas), etc. Nonetheless, if I ever
figure out which reports about the New Hampshire debates are
actually accurate, I'll let you know.

Sincerely,

Kayla Irwin Update

(originally launched into cyberspace on 12/28/2007)

Dear Subscriber,

For those who missed it, we've taken up a collection to help out
Kayla Irwin, innocent victim of some police state games in
Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Here's a video about it:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZyAvLFE0oo

As I mentioned before, a check for $2,000 was sent out to Ms. Irwin
the day after Christmas, and should be arriving any day now. So
far, the donations to help out Ms. Irwin are surpassing the
pledges, which is unusual. We have just under $2,000 in donation
via PayPal alone. (All the donations sent by mail are only just
starting to arrive.)

The first $2,000 received just goes to pay for the check which was
already sent. Whatever is received above and beyond that will be
sent to Ms. Irwin in a second check. This will probably be the last
reminder I send about this. Again, the two ways to donate are as
follows:

1) Send funds via PayPal. All you need is the e-mail address to
send to, which is:

This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

(ALL funds received there in the next two weeks will be assumed to
be for Ms. Irwin.)

2) You can also send check or money order (or cash if you dare) to
the address below. If you make the payments out in my name, I can
send Kayla one big check, instead of a zillion little ones. And
just so you know I'm not embezzling any of it (if any of you are
clueless enough to suspect such a thing), I'll post the initials
and amounts of all donations. Below is the list for the first two
days.

Sincerely,

Help on the Way

(originally launched into cyberspace on 12/26/2007)

Dear Subscriber,

Based upon pledges made by all you selfish, heartless, malcontent
extremists (that was sarcasm), tonight a check for $2,000 was
dropped in the mail, on its way to Kayla Irwin, the victim of the
incompetent, callous, fascist Lawrenceburg, Indiana stormtrooper
brigade.

And now I hope you can all follow through. The check for $2,000 was
written by someone who cannot nearly afford to donate that, but who
wrote the check on the understanding that they would be quickly
reimbursed by those of you who pledged support. There are two ways
for you to donate now:

1) By PayPal, all you need is the e-mail address to send funds to,
which is:

This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

ALL funds coming into that account in the next two weeks will be
assumed to be for Ms. Irwin (as will the wimpy amount that was
already in there).

2) You can send check or money order (or cash, if you dare) made
out to me and sent to the address below. I'll then post a list of
contributors (by initials and amounts, since I know a lot of you
would rather remain anonymous).

If the pledges are any indication, we will end up going well over
the $2,000 already sent. In another week or so, whatever the excess
is, I'll send it off in another check to Ms. Irwin.

We spend a lot of time lamenting the injustice committed by control
freaks in "government," and rightly so, but it's also great to be
able to do what civilized, free people ought to be willing and
eager to do, without an "authority" telling them to: helping people
who actually need it. Thank you all. (I will, of course, share any
response I receive from Ms. Irwin.)

Sincerely,

Oops, We Destroyed Your Home.

(originally launched into cyberspace on 12/24/2007)

Dear Subscriber,

So, "authority" is supposed to be a CIVILIZING influence, right?
It's supposed to keep us all polite and considerate, right? Well,
except for the ones who WIELD the "authority," who routinely commit
assault, extortion, terrorism, kidnapping and murder. And how often
do they take personal responsibility for their actions? Never. They
claim they were only acting on behalf of the mythical beast called
"authority," and therefore deserve no blame for their own actions.

Here is a fine example, where a bunch of authoritarian thugs
destroyed someone's home, and so far, intend to do nothing to make
amends. Turns out they did a SWAT raid of the WRONG home. Oops.
(And that happens a lot more often than you might think.) And guess
what happens to the thugs who do it? Usually, not a damn thing.
First, watch the video:

http://www.brasschecktv.com/page/208.html

Now, wouldn't you like to ask Gene Hunefeld--the head fascist of
Lawrenceburg, Indiana--whether his goon squad now intends to at
least reimburse the woman for all the damage their little thugs-
with-guns party caused? Well, go ahead and ask. Here is their phone
number:

(812) 537-2284

If all those bastards get is WORDS from angry citizens, they're
getting off really easy. Personally, I think if each one of them
had his own home gassed, ransacked and destroyed, maybe next time
they might at least make sure they have the ADDRESS correct before
playing Rambo.

Sincerely,

Larken Rose

(P.S. So far, I've been unable to find any contact info for Kayla
Irwin, the victim of the Gestapo stunt, to send her a little help.
If by some chance anyone knows how to do that, let me know, and
I'll use this list to do a little collection for her. It would be
nice to be able to chastise the guilty AND help out the innocent at
the same time.)

Pledges for Kayla Irwin

(originally launched into cyberspace on 12/24/2007)

Dear Subscriber,

Thanks to you folks on my list, I now have the contact info for
Kayla Irwin, the victim of that SWAT team invasion of her home--the
WRONG home--in Lawrenceburg, Indiana (as described in my prior e-
mail today). What I want to do is send Ms. Irwin as much financial
support as we can, right NOW. Rather than waiting around collecting
a bunch of little donations, or having a zillion people send her $5
checks, my plan was this: I'd ask you folks to tell me how much you
intend to donate to Ms. Irwin, and then--by way of someone I know--
I'd send her the money NOW, and then just hope you all follow
through on your pledges to pay me back. (If we get more donations
than pledges, I'd of course send Ms. Irwin the excess.)

As you know, I've personally had the displeasure of having fascists
rummage through my house, but: 1) they did far LESS damage than was
done to Ms. Irwin's home, and 2) in my case, at least they were at
the right address. I can tell you, it's not a pleasant feeling, and
I hope a bunch of you can find it in your hearts to fling whatever
you can--$10, $20, $100--to help out this victim of our modern
police state. I'll take pledges until Christmas night, and then
I'll arrange to send a check. (The mail won't move until then
anyway.) Remember, at this point all you need to do is send me an e-
mail telling me how much you INTEND to donate. Later I'll tell you
just how to do that, AFTER some support has been mailed to Ms.
Irwin.

Sincerely,

Larken Rose

Because I'm Lazy

(originally launched into cyberspace on 12/19/2007)

Dear Subscriber,

I'm sending this message out because I'm lazy. I've been almost
tempted to put a Ron Paul yard sign on my lawn, but the standard
ones... well, they look too much like political campaign signs. (I
have to hold my nose to support a "limited statist" at all, but
I'll save that rant for later.) So I designed my own yard sign,
with a little more substance to it. You can see the design here:

http://www.3rdear.com/content/view/23

In short, my lazy proposal is this: If anyone else wants to use
that design to make some signs, send me an e-mail, and I'll send
you the full-sized image... and then I'll ask you to send me one of
the signs when they're actually produced. (In other words, I'm too
lazy--and too broke--to go to the trouble of getting a sign company
to make them.)

My other idea is that, if someone else wants to have them made and
sell them, giving all the profits to Ron Paul's campaign, I'll let
my list know where to order them. And if more than one person wants
to do it, that's fine too. I'm just too lazy to do it myself.

Sincerely,

Larken Rose
