The Previously Announced Announcement

First of all, Happy New Year!

As I said I would, I'm now announcing the release of my new book,
"The Most Dangerous Superstition." I'll have a lot to say about it
in the coming days and weeks, but right now I'll just say this:

This book is by far the most important thing I've ever written.
It's been in the works for a decade and a half--since before almost
any of you had ever heard of me. I intentionally DIDN'T finish it
before now, because I didn't feel ready to do the issue justice
until recently. I wanted to do it right, because it isn't just AN
issue--it is THE issue. It is the most important "issue" in the
world (and I know how arrogant that sounds). If there's only one
thing of mine you ever read, let it be "The Most Dangerous
Superstition." (Incidentally, that's what the initials on this e-
mail list, "TMDS," stand for.)

Today, 1/1/11 (a fun coincidence), I'm only announcing the book to
this list. It can now be ordered online at www.larkenrose.com. It
will be another ten days or so before I actually receive the first
3,000 copies and start filling orders. As I said before, paying
subscribers to the www.larkenrose.com web site get a free copy, and
those will be mailed out first. (I already have lots of envelopes
ready to fill, for you paid subscribers who already gave me
addresses to send to.) After that, orders will be filled in the
order they are received. Since I'm telling this list about it
first, that means you get first shot. In the coming days I'll be
announcing the book all over the place.

Lastly, let me say that this book is NOT just a rant about why
freedom is good and tyranny stinks. (Who needs a book to tell them
that?) It digs down to a level where most people, including most
pro-freedom advocates, never tread. Even if you think you can
already guess everything I believe and everything I have to say,
you must read this book. I command it. Okay, I don't really ... but
I would if I believed in that sort of thing ... except then the
book wouldn't exist ... so I guess I still wouldn't ... never mind.
Just read it.

Sincerely,

Larken Rose

P.S. The book is $10, which includes shipping, and the web site
allows you to order by PayPal, by credit card, or by check or money
order. Here is the link for ordering:
