Thanks and Acknowledgement (Secret Project)

A1

Dear Subscriber,

To all those who generously supported my "secret project"--which is
now well underway--I've been trying to think of the best way to
send acknowledgement and thanks to those who've supported it so
far, both so you know payment was received, and so you know it's
appreciated (which I hope you could guess anyway). The best I could
come up with, without publicizing people's names (assuming you
don't want to be on the feds' enemies list--if you aren't already)
is below. Based on the amount received, I've listed just the
initials of donors. If you see initials but want to make sure it's
actually you, send me an e-mail.

AMOUNT-INITIALS
15 - UP
50 - RM, PM, TL, DG, JP, WM, RH, RT, MT, GE, DD, EC, RS, MN, KL,
VM, WB, SA, NBM, TM, JF, KN, DP, NM, GA, BM, ES, HS, EJ, SO, RS,
EC, VJD, JT, MC, TH, LB, JG, DB, CC, JT, MM, CC, BD, WL, SAE
100 - GS, SL, JM, SM, MG, JK, DD, BH, GS, SH, JH, JL, KR, JM, MJ, GN
150 - BW
200 - PW, DM, PL, IR
250 - PG
400 - ZT
500 - RM, BO
1000 - JB, PG, IJ

Now, for some odd reason, a bunch of people STILL never got my
actual e-mail saying that the project was a go, and describing how
to support it. I know my e-mails went out, so my best guess is
still that people's spam filters have been eating them, since they
talk about money and stuff. So, for those who pledged support but
never got that--or even for those who are just hearing about this
for the first time--I'll include the message again below. I really
am NOT doing that to try to nag, and the project is a GO already,
with the funding we already received. But I've had a half dozen
people send me messages saying they were still waiting for the info
on how to support the project. (Hmmm, maybe the NSA has been busy.)

Anyway, once again, to all those who made this project possible,
THANK YOU! And in the coming weeks, I'll be dropping a few more
hints about the purpose of the project, why I think it can have a
major impact, and so on. But it will still be mostly secret until
it launches for real. I still don't dare to guess an exact date for
that, but I'm pretty sure it will be LESS than three months from
now, but MORE than one month.

Sincerely,

Larken Rose

. .
. Secret Operation - First and Last Reminder

Dear Extremist,

This message is being sent to those who said they would be willing
to
invest in a pro-freedom project I'm working on, even though I can't
tell
you a dang thing about it at the moment. I was, and am, stunned at
the
huge positive response I have already received--so much so that
it's taken
until now to get organized enough to send this message.

Apparently a lot of people's spam filters ate my announcement that
I AM
going ahead with the project, probably because the message had lots
of
words about ... um ... green pieces of paper. (I'm trying not to
use words
that will get THIS message eaten by spam filters too.) Anyway, if
you're
getting this message, it's because you said you thought you WOULD
want to
support what is pretty much a mystery to you, just because I said I
think
it will make a big difference--and I very much DO think that. If you
already sent in your pledge, just IGNORE this message. (I KNOW that
people
on this list HAVE already sent me stuff, so do NOT take this
message to
mean that it didn't arrive.) But if you never got notice that we
ARE going
ahead with the project, this is your reminder--the last
reminder/nagging
you'll get about it..

Not to get mushy here, but I really was moved by the outpouring of
support, just based on me saying I think this is important.
Incidentally,
if you haven't sent in your pledge, and it would be a financial
hardship
to do so, skip it. I already received far more support than I
expected,
and while the more we get the more we can do, there's no need for
people
to impoverish themselves for this. (Also, once the thing is publicly
launched, if you like what you see--and you'd better!--you can still
support the project then.) Again, the deal is that for every $50
you throw
in now, you get back $60 as fast as we can do it, probably within a
couple
months. We will eventually be set up to accept Bitcoin, but for
now, the
options are PayPal (my account is under "This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.") or
good
old-fashioned snail mail (check, money order, cash, silver,
whatever),
using the address below.

I think this project will get the concepts of true freedom into the
heads
of FAR more people than anything I, and maybe anyone else, have
done so
far. Preaching to the choir is fun and all, but it's about time to
expand
the "choir" by several hundred million people. If you want in on the
ground floor--even before knowing what it's the ground floor OF--
your
support will be hugely appreciated.

Sincerely,

Larken Rose

Many Thanks! (Secret Project)

Dear Subscriber,

To all those who chipped in to support the "secret project" that I
can't even tell you anything about yet, thank you so much! We now
have enough to really start it off with a bang. I don't dare to
guess an exact "launch" date, because we really want to do it
right, but I'm hoping for a couple months from now.

(If you said you wanted to help out, but never received my follow-
up message saying that the project is a go, and explaining how to
contribute--apparently a lot of people's spam filters ate that
message--let me know if you still want to support it.)

With any luck, I'll soon be sending out specific responses,
acknowledging receipt of payments that people have sent in so far.
But I wanted to at least quickly throw out this general "thank
you," to all those who had enough faith in me to support something
that I think will have a huge impact, but that I couldn't even tell
you anything else about yet. Suffice it to say, I think this
project will stand out as something new and different, with the
potential to get the ideas of self-ownership, non-aggression and
true liberty, in front of a lot more people than anything I've ever
done before, and maybe more than anything anyone else has done
before either.

So thanks again, and know that the project is now roaring forward,
thanks entirely to the people on this list. Thank you!

Sincerely,

Larken Rose

Damn the Torpedoes!

Based on the response to my "trial balloon" yesterday, asking who
would be willing to invest in a project that I can't even tell you
anything about yet--except that I think it has a high chance of
being the most effective means yet for spreading the principles of
non-aggression, self-ownership, and true liberty--the answer from a
whole lot of you was clearly, "Damn the torpedoes, full speed
ahead!" Well, the sooner we get started, the sooner this thing can
start having a positive impact. So, let's do it! (I'm sure I'm not
the only one who feels a little desperation and eagerness to fix
things, as we watch the U.S. empire rapidly devolve into a third-
world police state.)

I must say how very grateful and humbled I am that so many of you,
without hesitation or reserve, expressed a willingness and
eagerness to support this "top secret" project, just on my say so,
before I can even tell you anything specific about it. I am
confident that you will not be disappointed, or I wouldn't be doing
it at all. (Plus, you'll be getting paid back anyway.) Again, none
of the funds received will go to pay me for anything. It will all
go to buy needed equipment, and to pay one or two others to help
make this project a reality. Of course, the more we have to start
with, the more we can do, and the better it will be. At the same
time, I got enough of a response to my "testing-the-waters" message
yesterday that if chipping in would pose any financial hardship on
you, feel free to sit this one out. And if you aren't comfortable
supporting something you know so little about--which would be
perfectly understandable--just skip it for now. When the project
publicly launches, you'll still have a chance to help support it
and spread it then.

The deal is simple: for every $50 you contribute now, you'll get
back $60 very soon after this project goes public. (A few of you
said you didn't want the extra $10, and a couple didn't even want
the original contribution back, but we can argue about that later.)
With a project of this size and importance, I'm scared to promise a
particular release date--we'd rather it be perfect and a bit late,
than mediocre and on time--but the goal is to publicly launch it
within a couple months. I don't want to sound overly optimistic,
but I really do see this as having the potential to be a far more
effective vehicle for spreading the message of self-ownership, non-
aggression, voluntaryism and true individual liberty, than anything
else I've ever done, maybe more than anything anyone has done. To
get this thing moving quickly, it would be great if most of the
contributions could happen within the next week or so. So, without
further ado, here's how to help:

To contribute by PayPal, send funds to "This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.," but
please include a note saying "JO," so I don't mistake it for a book
order or some random donation. For those who would prefer to
contribute by cash, check, money order, or chunks of metal, you can
use the address below. While payments should be made out to "Larken
Rose," if you can also include a note somewhere saying "JO," then I
'll know what it's for. (After the thing launches, you'll know what
"JO" stands for.) Also, if you do it by mail, and want your
contribution to be acknowledged and paid back, please make sure you
include a return address somewhere in there.

A lot of thinking and planning has already gone into this project,
and there isn't a whole lot more we can do until we have the means
to start actually putting to together. But thanks to you, we should
soon be off and running at full speed. Again, to those who have
agreed to make this thing happen, I can't thank you enough for
showing this level of trust and faith in a project that I can't
even tell you anything about yet. I intend to work my butt off to
see to it that that trust and faith is rewarded.

Sincerely,

(P.S. In my last message, I used the word "shares," and a couple
people pointed out that that sort of implies investment security
stuff, which the parasites love to stick their noses into. Well,
this isn't anything like that--you're not buying partial ownership
in some company--so I'll stop using that term.)

(P.P.S. By the time the project launches publicly, we'll have a way
to donate by Bitcoin, too, but I've been too disorganized so far to
make that happen yet.)

Just On My Say So?

ED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1

Dear Subscriber,

I'm starting work on a major but secret project which I think will
spread the principles of self-ownership, non-aggression, and
voluntaryism, farther than anything I've ever done before--maybe
farther than anything anyone has ever done before. However, it's a
little tough to embark on a major project with a budget of zero,
and it's tough to get people to invest in something you can't tell
them anything about.

But a curious thought occurred to me. I wonder how many people have
followed my stuff for long enough, and liked what I've produced so
far, enough that they would invest a bit in something that is
almost a complete unknown, just on my say so. (I'm not even saying
anyone SHOULD do such a thing; just wondering how many would.) I
really do think this could have a pretty huge positive impact, but
I see a minimum start-up cost of between $2,000 and $3,000.

So right now, just as an experiment, I wanted to just ask how many
people on this list would "blindly" support such a thing. I'm
thinking one "share" would be $50, and each share, within a couple
months (IF this thing happens), will pay out $60, to keep things
really simple. But I can't do it at all if we wouldn't quickly sell
40 "shares" at the absolute minimum. So do NOT send any money for
this yet! At this point, I'm only ASKING what you think you WOULD
invest if I go ahead with this now. (Obviously, the project won't
be a secret AFTER the thing is publicly launched, so it's not like
you'd NEVER know what you invested in.)

So how many people on this list are brave and/or stupid enough to
invest $50 (or more) in what is basically a complete unknown, just
on my say so? (If you're wondering, exactly ZERO of the start-up
cost would go to me personally; it's for specific equipment, and
paying someone else a bit to help me with the project.)

Sincerely,

Larken Rose

Video Contest Fail

ED MESSAGE-----

(Okay, let's try this again WITH a subject line.)

Dear Subscriber,

As I just announced, my video, "It Can't Happen Here!"--despite
overwhelming popular support on YouTube and on the InfoWars web
site--won exactly jack squat in Alex jones' "Operation Paul Revere"
video contest. (It didn't make the top three.) Yeah, it's a big
disappointment, but we've had lots of practice with disappointments
over the last eight years. Sorry to be such a downer. In case
you're wondering, I'm incapable of giving up anyway.

A few people have already asked where they can send donations, and
I seem to have run out of pride enough to argue about it. Our
PayPal account is under "This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it." and our "snail
mail" address is below. I don't want to be too much of a party-
pooper, because there are a LOT of very positive things happening,
and about to happen. (It's just that they never seem to happen to
our finances.) Oh well. No one said being an enemy of the state was
a lucrative hobby.

Sincerely,
